Sunshine Coast Falcons down PNG Hunters 36 - 10
The SP PNG Hunters have suffered a embarrassing defeat from last placed Sunshine Coast Falcons at the Sunshine Coast Stadium yesterday. This is the first time the PNG team has lost to the Falcons. The Falcons thrashed the PNG Hunters 36 - 10 to register their first win of the season. This is a message to the PNG Hunters not to underestimate any team in the Instrut Super Cup.
Hunters were first to score signalling a bright start however, the game was riddled with ball handling errors as drop balls became a nightmare for the Michael Marum coached side.
Falcons led 16-6 at half time.
In the second half, the home team piled up more tries and shut out any possible comeback threat from the Hunters. This is the Hunters second lose.
