Evidences of bank transactions of how over 2-million kina was used, were presented to court this afternoon, during the Maladina trial.
The evidences were police exhibits and are part of several written statements submitted to court by the State as vital evidence.
Former Chairman of the now defunct National Provident Fund, Jimmy Maladina is in court over allegations of conspiracy and misappropriation.
Out of twenty seven witnesses indicated for the State, some gave written statements, others appeared in person and some were not available as they were deceased, in other countries or couldn't be located.
However, after Maladina pleaded not guilty two high profile witnesses came forward to testify for the State.
They are Sir Brown Bai and current Bank South Pacific Chief Executive Officer Robin Flamming.
The state alleges Maladina and few others including officers from the Japanese Construction company, Kumagai Gumi conspired and had the money transferred into the accused account, and used for other purposes.
The construction had cost 50 million but was said to have increased due to devaluation in kina to 55 million.
