PNG Hunters expect new level of game against Townsville Blackhawks
SP Papua New Guinea Hunters coach Michael Marum expects his team to lift to another level when they meet minor premiers Townsville Blackhawks in the all important Intrust Super Cup qualifying final this Saturday in Townsville.
Marum has reminded his players that while they are the only side to have beaten the Blackhawks twice this season, that record will have little bearing on Saturday which must be treated as a different game.
He says, the team has been working hard on areas they know they can do better, and ensuring they are fine tuned to do all the little things right to get the desired result.
The Hunters travel into Port Moresby from Kokopo tomorrow, before heading to Cairns on Thursday en route to Townsville.
The match kicks off at 5pm on Saturday and the winner goes straight into the grand final on September 27
