Vanuatu allows BSP
The Vanuatu Reserve Bank is reportedly facilitating an agreement to allow Bank South Pacific to operate in the country.
The Vanuatu Daily Post, reports Prime Minister Peter O'Neil and Sato Kilman holding discussions yesterday over the issue, which won favor from Mr. Kilman's cabinet.
Mr. O'Neil and his Vanuatu counterpart Sato Kilman, were reported discussing how the Pacific could be connected through the establishment of infrastructures in island states, the setting up of regional air services and a shipping line.
Other issues Mr. Kilman will raise at the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting tomorrow, is increasing economic returns from Fisheries, Climate Change, West Papua, Cervical Cancer, Foreign Affairs Ministers to meet before the Leaders’ meet, PACER Plus and Tahiti to whether or not be granted full membership.
New Zealand Prime Minister John Key and Australia's Tony Abbot are both attending the P-I-F for the first time.
