Hiri Hiri becomes 113th PNG Barramundis Player
Hiri Hiri received his Baggy Black Cap, after being selected in the BSP PNG Barramundis team to play Nepal in the World Cricket League Championships (WCLC) match today.
Hiri who hails from Kilakila Village, became the 113th player to represent PNG at senior level in an International Cricket Council (ICC) sanctioned event. Former PNG Barramundis vice-captain and current Assistant Coach, John Ovia presented Hiri with the Baggy Black prior to the start of the WCLC match against Nepal today at Zayed Cricket Stadium.
The BSP PNG Barramundis are looking for their second consecutive victory in the WCLC after coming off a thrilling two wicket victory against Nepal on Monday.
