Australian Government funds new computer labs for schools in Vanuatu

Two new computer labs have been officially opened at Eles Centre School, Nguna island, and Sarakata Centre School, Santo.

Funded by the Australian Government, in partnership with the Vanuatu Government and the Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Regulator (TRR), through the Universal Access Policy Program, these computer labs were established to help reach the Vanuatu government's goal of providing telecommunications access to 98 per cent of Vanuatu's population by January 2018.

Australia is providing 15 schools and communities across Vanuatu with internet access through computer labs and centres  .
