Polye observes World Disability Day
Papua New Guinea Opposition Leader Don Pomb Polye today observed the World Disability Day.
Mr Polye has urged the politicians including himself to start addressing issues of human rights rather then indulging in 'petty politics'.
He said they had to refocus their strategies and policies to capture human rights which have been given less attention and funds.
Opposition Leader recognises persons living with disability and urges the government to treat them equally like every other able person.
Among the other priority areas that Mr Polye intends to place, when in power, is the rights of the people living with disability.
