Long term support for PNG Hunters announced
SP Brewery has today announced to date its biggest ever sponsorship deal for Sports by reaffirming their commitment to the SP PNG Hunters Program with a sponsorship deal for another 5 years worth K7.6 million.
Managing Director of SP Brewery, Mr Stan Joyce reiterated the long term sponsorship they have had to Sports in PNG, particularly Rugby League and their foresight in initially committing to the SP Hunters and hopes to see this successful partnership grow in the coming years.
“This sponsorship shows the confidence SP Brewery has in this venture with the Hunters after a sensational season by the Hunters team last year in the QLD Intrust Super Cup. SP is immensely proud to retain the Naming Rights and wish you well in the 2016 season and beyond,” says Mr Joyce.
The sponsorship deal will see K500, 000 as signing Fee for 2016 with K1.6m for 2017 from which each year will receive a 10percent increment. And that is K1.8m in 2018, K1.9m in 2019 and K2.1m for 2020.
Chairman of PNGRFL Mr Sandis Tsaka thanked Mr Joyce and SP Brewery for the believe they have in the Hunters Program and said that this sponsorship gesture showed by SP Brewery and other sponsors will only help to develop and grow the game we all love.
