PNG FIFA U20 WOMEN'S TEAM ANNOUNCED

PAPUA New Guinea Football Association has announced 28 players who have been identified in the last training camp to move into Goroka next month for the U20 National Team Selection Process.
PNGFA congratulates the 28 playersfor being selected which 10 of the players in the team were part of the senior side that lost to New Zealand in the first leg of the Olympic Qualifier at the PNGFA Academy.
And with ten months remaining for the U20 FIFA Women's World Cup, PNG is set and ready to host the other 15 nations that will be here for the tournament.
SIXTEEN countries have qualified to take part in the FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea from November 13 to December 3.
Canada, Mexico, USA, Brazil and Venezuela rounded off their qualification late last year, joining France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Ghana, Nigeria, New Zealand and host Papua New Guinea for FIFA's second largest women's football tournament in the world.
The selected players are: Lace Kunei, Eunice Dambui, Olive Upaupa, Cynthia Stanis, Jacobeth Bani, Sheilla Gubag, Leah Noah, Gloria Balamus, Gloria Laeli, Yvonne Gabong, Joy Tsuga, Marie Kaipu, Nicollette Ageva, Tetoria Robert, Ramona Quintina Padio, Anna Bulum, Younicher Wablasu, Desleigh Darius, Michaella Kurabi, Hegga Gerald, Elien Manup, Lavina Hola, Rosewitha Puso, Christo Mato, Branchley Hamipa, Esmeralda Waipo, Margaret Joseph and Belinda Giada.
