PNG among top corrupt countreis in the world

PNG is still ranked one of the corrupt countries in the world according to the 2015 Corruption Perception Index scoring 25 out of 100 and ranked 139 out of 168 countries that were assessed for corruption in the public sector.
TIPNG Chairman Lawrence Steven said PNG’s score of 25 has not changed for 4 years and remains below the global average of 43.
He challenged all public institutions to respond to the need to be transparent and for an intensified effort to combat corruption in all sectors of the society.
