Samarai - Murua MP Gordon Wesley accepts court decision

Ousted Samarai Murua MP Gordon Wesley today said he accepted the Supreme Court decision to dismiss his application for review of 2 national court decisions which ousted him as the duly elected leader and ordered a by-election for the voided seat.
He told this newsroom that he was looking forward to the by-election but aired his frustrations at the delays caused by the judiciary in handing down a decision.
He said the people of Samarai Murua were without a leader for almost 9 months and were left to suffer at the mercy of the courts during disasters that struck the district.
