Australia’s Ambassador for Women and Girls, Natasha Stott Despoja visits Caritas Technical Secondary School

Australia’s Ambassador for Women and Girls, Natasha Stott Despoja has visited Caritas Technical Secondary School in Port Moresby.

Ambassador Stott Despoja – who was the youngest woman ever to enter the Australian parliament - spoke to students at the all-girls school about her experiences promoting policies and activity on gender equality and the social, political and economic empowerment of women and girls.

Ambassador Stott Despoja later observed students participating in the League Bilong Laif program. It is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by the National Rugby League (Australia) in partnership with the PNG National Department of Education.
