PM O'Neill : Pay attention to majority, not only critics
The Government has received praises from Leaders during the closing of this LEADERS SUMMIT last night, for its determination to ensure FUNDS trickle down to the most remote parts of the country. Member for Middle RAMU expressed his commendation for the current Government efforts in ensuring FUNDS , no matter how small or big was finally reaching districts after 40 years...however he stressed that it was also important that DISTRICT had the capacity to UTILIZE these funds effectively. Prime Minister, Peter O' NEILL emphasized on the NEED for LEADERS to take into account, THE MAJORITY of people’s concerns and NOT ONLY CRITICS which was a barrier towards achieving goals. Mr O' NEILL also emphasized that the meet and all the positive stories was a reflection of what the VOTERS on ground were experiencing and what they wanted from their Government and it was important that Leaders paid more attention to these concerns. He further added that the Leaders Summit will be held at the new convention center in 2017, with Districts and MP’s called on to prepare 5 year Development Plans for their Districts.
