Public Servants need to show for performance : Lupari
A fair amount of the country’s budget for this year has been allocated into looking after public servants such as their personal emoluments and the operation of Public Offices but this is most of the time not shown for in their performance.
During the 4th Leaders Summit currently underway in Port Moresby, the Chief Secretary to Government, Ambassador Issac Lupari told Departmental Heads, Provincial and District Administrators that their performance in their respective areas must portray how much the government is willing and spending on them.
He challenged all public servants throughout the country that it was time to walk the talk and a collaborative approach between government institutions partnering in developmental programs and projects is the way forward for the betterment of our people.
