Solomon Islands Team arrives in Port Moresby for the OFC Cup
Solomon Island‘s football club arrived today via Brisbane.
The team will be led by Skipper Henry Faarodo that will take part in the Oceania Football Confederation Cup (OFC), come this weekend.
The tournament will include eight (8) teams from across the Pacific including home team, Papua New Guinea.
Speaking on arrival, Team Skipper Faarodo said he is excited and looking forward for this weekend’s match when they take on Vanuatu at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
He said Vanuatu is a strong side and he is adamant that his players are capable of standing strong after some positive results shown during their lead up matches in Australia.
He also added that a preparations have really improved over the last couple of weeks. PNGFM / PNG Today
