PNG Kapuls set for Tahiti
The PNG National Football Team will field a mixture of inexperience players but confidence and combination play will boost the performance of the Flemming Serritslev coached side in their Stage 3 encounter of the 2018 Russia Qualifiers against Tahiti tomorrow (Thursday) at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
Despite the inexperience of the team minus the services of a couple of experienced players in former captain David Muta, Raymond Gunemba and Wira Wama, the team is content enough to give Tahiti a run.
Coach Flemming Serritslev says Tahiti is a more experienced side but believes in the boys to match the team for an equal contest.
Captain and midfielder Michael Foster said the boys are fit physically, mentally and spiritually to take their opponents.
Come support the Kapuls in their World Cup campaign. Tickets are available from Euro Sport at Vision City Mega Mall in Waigani.
