World Surfing Championships in PNG to be televised worldwide
The Kumul World Long board Surfing Championships will be broadcast live out of Tupira village, Bogia in Madang Province next week, with the potential of reaching more than 120 million viewers around the globe.
The live stream would be made possible with Telikom PNG’s VSAT technology and support worth K107,000, providing an uplink for the world event.
PNG's own Titima Mange in the men’s and Marion Longa in the women’s division will be among the list of more than 50 professional surfers.
The event will be from the 18th to the 25th of March.
