International Media to cover PNG Elections
Several international media organizations have confirmed their presence during the 2017 National Elections.
PNG Electoral Commission's media officer, Alphonse Muapi says, Al Jazeera, Radio New Zealand International, and SBS Television will be the first ones to arrive next Monday and Tuesday respectively.
The Economist and the Australian have also indicated they will be covering PNG's elections while Channel Nine and Seven have NOT confirmed.
Meantime, candidates now have ONLY seven days for campaigning before polling starts on June 24th, which is next Saturday.
Over 100 international election observers will also be involved in this year's elections. NBC
