PNG Cancer Foundation partners with ExxonMobile to conduct Cancer awareness
The PNG Cancer Foundation is partnering with Exxon Mobil to conduct cancer awareness programs to all schools across the country.
The partnership was shown with a cheque presentation of 165 thousand kina.
The funding will go towards the Foundation's Healthy Teens School's Program.
PNG Cancer foundation Chief Executive Officer Dadi Toka Junior said they are pleased to continue the partnership with Exxon Mobil which will see the program being rolled out to many schools across Papua New Guinea.
They include Papa Lea lea, Boera, Tatana, Hanuabada, Porebada, N.C.D., Hides and Moro in the Southern Highlands province.
The H.T.S. Program is aimed at educating Primary school students on how to make healthy lifestyle choices as a way of reducing the risk of developing cancer.
Since the inception of the program in 2016,about three thousand students in Milne Bay, , West New Britain,Port Moresby and Morobe,have benefited from the progam.
