PNC's Kapavore retains Pomio Seat
Sitting Member for Pomio, Elias Kapavore, has retained the seat.
Mr. Kapavore, a Peoples National Congress party man,was declared Member-elect at Palmalmal late yesterday afternoon.
He collected 336 votes from the 12th and final elimination of PNG First Party's Francis Waine to bring his final tally to 7,150 votes.
He went past the absolute majority of 6,094 votes.
PANGU Pati's Father Ben Tati polled 5,036 votes to be runner up.
