Teachers directed to return to class
All teachers involved in the 2017 national elections have been directed to return to classes next week.
Education Secretary, Dr. Uke Kombra, issued this directive in a circular yesterday.
Dr. Kombra has directed teachers involved in counting to cease their election duties and prepare to report back at their schools on Monday.
He says classes for term three have resumed with the final examinations for grades 8, 10 and 12 students coming up.
Secretary Kombra says it's important all students within the National Education system meet the approved instructional hours to be eligible to sit for their exams.
