Lam, Meninga to debut for PNG Kumuls against USA
Lacklam Lam and Moses Meninga will make their debut appearance for PNG after both players were named in the starting line up for PNG LNG Kumuls in this weekend’s final Pool game against USA in Port Moresby.
Lam has been named to wear the No: 6 jumper while Meninga named to fill in as prop. The other inclusion in the starting side is James Segeyaro at hooker.
PNG LNG Kumuls Coach Michael Marum said apart from Rod Griffin who sustained a knee injury on the eve of their first game against Wales, the inclusion of Lam, Meninga, Nixon Putt and Thomason Tete will have ensured all players had a game at home during the pool stages.
Griffin will undergo further tests later this week.
Wellington Albert has been ruled out for two weeks with a medical ankle injury.
