PNG Hunters resume training

The SP Papua New Guinea Hunters will resume training today. However,  vice-captain Wellington Albert will not be a part of the SP Hunters squad this season.

His PNG LNG Kumul team mates – Captain Ase Boas, Watson Boas, Wartovo Puara, Stargroth Amean, Stanton Albert, Enock Maki, Nixon Putt, Moses Meninga and Willie Minoga – have joined the pre-season training camp in Port Moresby today.
Coach Michael Marum confirmed that Albert has signed a contract to play with Super League club Widnes Vikings in England.
The 32 players to resume training today are:

Marum said the squad will be reduced to 25 at the end of January.
The SP Hunters play a triaql match against full strength  Brisbane Broncos in Port Moresby on February 24.
