Meninga in, Alu out for PNG Hunters match against Redcliffe Dolphins

Moses Meninga has been named in the starting line- up for this weekend’s Round 17 Intrust Super Cup clash against Redcliffe Dolphins at the Oil Search National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.

Meninga replaces Ila Alu who suffered an ankle injury last Sunday and is expected to be out for four weeks. Rhadley Brawa will move to second row making way for Meninga at lock.

PNG LNG Kumul winger Junior Rau returns to his wing position while Edene Gabbie will start at fullback. Paul Wawa, Adex Wera, Butler Morris and William Mone have been named on the extended bench.

Coach Michael Marum will confirm the 18 man team at the Captains Run on Saturday and the final 17 an hour before kick- off at 3pm on Sunday July 8.

A women’s Under 20 match between POMRFL and POM South RFL will be the curtain raiser which kicks off at 12.30pm.

After the SP Hunters Dolphins game will be the Round 14 Digicel Cup match between PRK Gulf Isou and Kroton Hela Wigmen which kicks off at 5.00pm.
