PNG PM O'Neill not happy with Wutung PNG-Indonesia border

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O’Neill says he is not happy with what is happening at the northern PNG-Indonesian border at Wutung.

Mr O'Neill who visited the border last week, says Wutung does not reflect the millions of Kina the government had spent there.

The prime minister who was in Vanimo last Thursday to round off his Mamose tour of the country, has committed 6-million Kina to connect power between Vanimo Town and Wutung.

He says he will return mid-year or before the year ends to see if projects promised for Wutung are delivered.
