Leeds sign PNG International Wellington Albert on a trial basis

The SP Papua New Guinea Hunters have made several changes to their squad to face the Norths Devils in round 5 of the Intrust Super Cup in Brisbane next Saturday.

Woods Kawage has been named in the starting line- up . Also returning to the side is Brendon Gotuno who was on a ‘train and trial’ stint with Penrith Panthers in NSW.

Jerry Teme and Jack Oii become Hunters Nos. 78 and 79 respectively when they run on from the bench.

Joe Joshua, McKenzie Yei and Junior Rop have been recalled to the side.

Ruled out due to injuries are Captain Adex Wera (hip), Vice- Captain Moses Meninga (ankle) and Wawa Paul (ankle).

Coach Michael Marum will name the stand-in captain and final 18 man travelling team on Thursday.

The SP Hunters travel to Brisbane on Friday and take on Norths Devils in the Round 5 ‘Red Sox’ ISC game on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 6.00pm at Bishop Park.

They return to Port Moresby on Sunday.
