Acting Police Commissioner Tokura condemns barbaric killings in Tari, Hela Province

PNG Fashion Week is expanding from last year with the inclusion of 4 provinces that will be staging their fashion runway in preparation for the major event later this year

PNG Fashion Week Managing Director Philma Kelegai says fashion has been attracting a lot of people including local designers who are using it as a platform to showcase their unique designs

Kelegai says fashion is contributing a lot in our tourism sector and also educating a lot of local designers and helping young entrepreneurs in the industry

Although a specific number of models and designers were not given, Kelegai says they will be expecting more than last year’s participants

PNG Fashion Week 2019 team will be visiting Rabaul Fashion Week this weekend, followed by Enga Fashion Week on 10th of August, Lae Fashion Week on September 12th, and Bilum Festival on September 13th in Goroka, Eastern Highlands.

The anticipated PNG Fashion Week will be staged in Port Moresby from the 7th – 12th October later this year




Among other partners, Digicel has also come onboard to support the Fashion Week with K30, 000
