Mobil in partnership with ExxonMobil and Tia family opened the country’s first ever speedy site service station at 7 mile in Port Moresby this morning.

The speedy site offers many advantages said CEO of ExxonMobil Andrew Barry.

A Mobil Speedy site is quicker to build and open for business while being able to relocate to meet infrastructure or road changes, has safe and durable above ground tanks with the capacity to hold 40, 000 litres which can fill an average car up to 700 times.

This new concept of fuel station adds to the eight Mobil retail stations already established across the country.

Raymond Wong Senior Director Fuel Sales Pacific Region said, they plan to have 20 other speedy sites in the country in the next 18 months.

A second Speedy Site, Mobil Markham Road Service Station will be opened in Lae tomorrow (Thursday 15th August 2019).
