PNG Stands COVID-19 free under 14 days Lockdown

PNG Prime Minister James Marape announced that PNG is still yet to confirm any cases from persons of interest. To date, PNG is COVID 19 free but is till under SOE and lock-down for the 14 days.


Public places including markets, schools, supermarkets and gathering of more than 100 people have been closed nationwide.

In Madang, its now the 5 day into lockdown and people have arranged alternatives to do the basics to keep going amid lockdown.

Residents at Madang Technical College have come together to allow mothers to sell basic food items at the doorstep.

A lecturer at Madang Technical Collage Mr. Owens has invited friends and neighbors to come to his yard to sell and buy basic food from the garden.

In the photographs attached are mothers selling their garden produces to residents at the Madang Technical College.
