Probable Case of Coronavirus or COVID-19 in PNG returns Negative
Papua New Guinea Health Minster Jelta Wong in a statement this evening says the "Probable" case of Coronavirus or COVID-19 presented in Lae, Morobe province has been conclusively returned negative.
Minister Wong said the gentleman who felt ill is now feeling better and happy that he complied with health requirements and reported himself.
Wong has assured the general public that the person's concern will be quarantined for the next 14 days.
The Health Minister is pleased that travellers into PNG are following the advice given upon entry by health officials and reporting any slight changes in their health.
