PNG Health Worker dies of COVID-19 : Marape

Three people are dead and several others injured in two separate road accidents within Port Moresby today.

According to Police Media, a truck transporting some construction workers lost control while descending from Koura way towards Konedobu and plunged almost 300 meters over the cliff killing two people instantly and leaving several others battered and injured in the crash.

Police and ambulance workers climbed down the slope to rescue the injured and removed the two corpses at around 6. 15pm tonight. In a separate accident reported at 3 mile, a pedestrian was run over and killed by a speeding car. NCD Traffic Police are now investigating these two accidents but we appeal to motorists to drive carefully and safely especially at this time when Port Moresby city and Central Province are experiencing some rain and drizzles.
