516 Papua New Guineans recover from COVID-19
Five hundred and sixteen people have so far recovered from the Coronavirus in Papua New Guinea.
National Pandemic Response Controller David Manning said, this is from the 532 cases that the country currently has.
Mr. Manning said, the COVID-19 deaths remains at 7.
He added that to date, of the 23,777 persons tested for the vrius, 23, 246 have returned negative, an additional 118 samples are pending laboratory results while 7 active cases are currently in isolation.
Thirteen provinces of the country have reported cases with NCD leading at 316, Western Province at 189, Central 7, Morobe 5, East Sepik and West New Britain on 3 each, East New Britain and Milne Bay on 2 cases each, while Southern Highlands, Eastern Highlands, West Sepik, New Ireland and the Autonomous Region of Bougainville on 1 case each.
