Bougainville News : Masui Delivers Water Tanks for Torokina
The member for South Bougainville and minister for Communications and ICT, TIMOTHY MASIU today delivered 30 2000 litres water tanks for the people of Torokina in South Bougainville.
The Tanks were delivered to Buka and will be taken to Torokina later by boat.

Minister Masiu said that all developments taking place In South Bougainville includes Torokina despite their isolation because of their location.
He said that next month he will Open the Atsinima Aid post plus a Double Classroom and a Teachers house at a Torokina school.
The member said that since he was elected the member for South Bougainville him and his DDA board has approved projects worth more than THREE MILLION KINA and he will continue to work on other projects in Torokina including a volcano monitoring equipment to monitor seismic activities of the active volcano, Mount BAGANA.
He said that a second Tractor will go again to Torokina to help cocoa farmers in Torokina transport their produce to the beach in preparation for shipment to markets in Buka and Rabaul.
On the Torokina Boat that has not worked due to mechanical problems, he said parts have been bought and the Ship will start work soon.
The member returns to Port Moresby tomorrow after delivering many such projects in South Bougainville for three weeks.
