PNG to Introduce SME Curriculum to schools
The Papua New Guinea Department of Education is embarking on introducing the Small to Medium Enterprise or SME concept at schools.
This will be done through a curriculum for a formal conventional school system.

The country's Education Secretary Dr. Uke Kombra have revealed this during the launching of the Coffee Curriculum Teachers Resources Books in Port Moresby on Monday.
He says under the SME policy of the Education Department, the department is planning to work with agencies dealing with commodities in the country to do short term courses.
Secretary Kombra emphasise that teaching and empowering the younger generation at an early stage about SME is vital.
Meantime, the Department of Education is currently working on a Small Medium Enterprise or SME policy that will be introduced in schools through a curriculum.
