The Moresby South Electorate is embarking on start removing groups and people that are continuously causing lawlessness in the area.
Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko says work will begin in the next few weeks.
He says this initiative will be implemented in partnership with the National Capital District Commission (NCDC).
''Some people don't want to listen to the laws of our country, don't want to listen to the police, they got no respect for anybody and they continue to cause crime in our district, they will be removed.
''So we have already issued areas warning notices, which is a 2Mile Hill which is notorious for hold-ups, bags snatching every week.
''Other problem areas include Raviagini, Vadavada, and Sabama, all in the Moresby South electorate.
The Goilala communities in 6-Mile Saraga, Talai, Gorobi and some other areas are fine, there are no issues but only a few that are continuously causing lawlessness will be removed,'' said Justin Tkatchenko.
