Another Member of PNG Parliament Dies

 The sitting Member for Papua New Guinea's Sumkar  Open , Chris Yerr Nangoi has passed away in Madang  on Thursday afternoon (9/06/2022).

According to NBC News , the late MPs family residence was informed that Mr Nangoi passed away  at Madang's Modilon Hospital.

The cause of death is not known at this stage.

The late Mr Nangoi's body was taken to his family residence earlier this evening where it will remain pending further arrangement.

The late Chris Yerr Nangoi was a member of the United Labour Party. 

News of his passing is slowly spreading in Madang and to people in his electorate in Sumkar.

Mr Nangoi is the second MP from Madang Province to have died during this term of Parliament.

The first was the Member for Middle Ramu, Johnny Alonk, who passed away in September last year.
