PNG's Airline Air Niugini resumes Flights

Papua New Guinea airline , Air Niugini  has adviced the  traveling public that the Notice to Airmen(NOTAM) by National Airports Corporation(NAC) closing domestic part of the airport have been lifted late today(Saturday 12th Nov) and flights have resumed.

"Air Niugini has been allowed to resume the remaining flights from 3pm and will continue normal operations tomorrow for both domestics and international flights.

All affected passengers will be automatically rebooked onto the next available flight and advised by email and/or text message as long as the booking includes your contact details.

Air Niugini regrets the inconvenience caused, however the situation is beyond the airline’s control.

We thankyou for your understanding and co-operation" the airline said in a statement.
