During his visit, he played a pivotal role in the groundbreaking ceremony at Wingei High School, officially declaring its elevation from a high school to a secondary school—a testament to his commitment to education development. Additionally, Minister Uguro inaugurated a new 4-in-1 classroom and office at Pomalmal High School, pledging a substantial K1 million to each school for the establishment of fully equipped science laboratories.

The confirmation of Minister Uguro's passing came from PNG's Trade and Investment Minister, Richard Maru. Maru mentioned that Minister Uguro had not complained of any sickness during dinner, and only a post-mortem examination would confirm the cause of death.

The sudden loss of Minister Uguro leaves a void in the field of education leadership. Sincere condolences are extended to his immediate family and the communities of Usino-Bundi and Madang on behalf of the team and management of PNG Today Minister Uguro's significant contributions to education and his unwavering commitment to school enhancement will be remembered and cherished by many.
