Lam tips PNG talent to transform London Broncos
Papua New Guinea rugby league players could be the key to London Broncos’ Championship ambitions, according to Leigh Leopards coach and Kumuls great Adrian Lam.
Lam said the Broncos’ recruitment of PNG internationals showed growing trust in the country’s player pathways and development structures.
Several Kumuls have been added to the London squad, giving the club greater depth and balance as it prepares for the upcoming season.

Lam said PNG players continue to prove they belong at professional level, particularly when placed in structured systems that allow them to focus on performance.
He said overseas exposure has helped lift standards and confidence among PNG players, opening doors for more talent to follow.
The presence of coaching staff familiar with PNG rugby league, Lam added, has made the transition smoother for players moving into the UK game.
“Give these boys opportunity and belief, and they will surprise a lot of teams,” Lam said.
