PNG Family Enjoys Memorable Japan Holiday Through Air Niugini Tours

A Papua New Guinea family has returned home with unforgettable memories after taking advantage of Air Niugini's restored direct service between Port Moresby and Tokyo for a week-long holiday in Japan.

The trip, arranged through Air Niugini Tours, gave the family an opportunity to experience Japan's culture, history, technology and famous attractions while spending valuable time together, highlighting the growing travel opportunities now available to PNG families.

Port Moresby resident Paul Aita travelled with his wife Ruth and their three children, Julianne, Shama and Shevisha, on Air Niugini's non-stop service to Tokyo, which resumed after a six-year break.

Mr Aita said the return of the direct route convinced him it was finally the right time to take his family overseas.

He said travelling offered children experiences that could not be gained inside a classroom, allowing them to understand different cultures and ways of life while broadening their outlook on the world.

During their stay, the family visited several of Japan's best-known attractions, including the Shinjuku Love Statue and Mount Fuji. They also joined sightseeing tours around Tokyo, exploring the city's famous landmarks, public transport system, historic sites and modern lifestyle.

Mr Aita said arranging the holiday was straightforward because Air Niugini Tours handled every aspect of the journey, including flights, accommodation, transfers and guided tours in one package.
