Australia Names PM’s XIII Squads to Face PNG

Australia has announced its men’s and women’s Prime Minister’s XIII squads for the 2026 rugby league matches against Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby on Saturday, October 3. The announcement follows PNG’s selection of its own men’s and women’s squads earlier this week, setting up the two countries for another round of representative clashes at Santos National Football Stadium.

The Australian teams feature a blend of established NRL players and emerging talent, with both sides preparing for a strong test against the PNG Kumuls and Orchids on home soil. The women’s match is scheduled for 12.15pm, followed by the men’s encounter at 2.05pm.

Australian Women’s PM’s XIII: Ahlivia Ingram, Andie Robinson, Bree Chester, China Polata, Chloe Jackson, Georgia Hannaway, Jacinta Carter, Jada Taylor, Jasmin Morrissey, Kasey Reh, Khyliah Gray, Lucy Spain, Montana Clifford, Rory Owen, Ruby-Jean Kennard-Ellis, Tahlia O’Brien, Taneka Todhunter, Tayla Preston, Tess McWilliams and Tori Shipton.

PNG has already confirmed its own PM’s XIII selections for the two matches, with the Kumuls and Orchids preparing to represent the country before a home crowd in Port Moresby. The PNG squads include players drawn from the domestic competition and Papua New Guinean players competing in overseas leagues, giving the national selectors a broad group to choose from.

The October 3 programme will feature four representative matches at Santos National Football Stadium. The junior sides will begin the day before the PNG Orchids meet the Australian women at 12.15pm. The PNG Kumuls will then take on the Australian men’s PM’s XIII at 2.05pm in the final match of the programme.

With both countries now having their squads confirmed, preparations will shift towards the final stages ahead of the Port Moresby fixtures. The matches will provide the PNG players with an opportunity to face Australian opposition on home ground, while Australia’s selected players will have the chance to make an impression in the PM’s XIII arena.
