Eluh to take suspension to court
Suspended Assistant Police Commissioner Crimes, Thomas Eluh will be going to court tomorrow to protest his removal.
He was suspended for insubordination late yesterday.
Eluh said this afternoon the decision is in direct contempt of a National Court order issued last Wednesday.
Sources attached with the now defunct Task Force Sweep Team also confirmed that, the Sweep Team will also go to court.
They say what has happened is in contempt of court and the incumbent Acting Commissioner Geoffery Vaki must also be stopped from interfering with police.
Suspended Commissioner Operations Simon Kauba is also going to the court to seek justice.
He said what has happened is unfortunate, and a direct attempt by Mr Vaki and newly appointed Attorney General, Ano Pala to stop police from carrying out its work.
