Port Moresby's Gordons KFC burns
An eyewitness said that the fire started from KFC block and spread out. The eyewitness said, there was a smoke coming out of the KMC's kitchens and the security guards who were around tried to put the fire out. However, a man from Asian origin stopped the security guards.

A police unit was on the ground to prevent opportunist from possible looting.
Two fire units from waigani and Boroko were also on hand to try and contain the situation along with Eda Ranu and PNG Power officials.
Meantime, NCD police were on scene to monitor the situation as the flames subsided by 12 mid night, while smoke is still observed to be belowing out from the burnt outlines of the KMC as well as nearby store complex.
