PNG Barramundis register first ODI win
In a historical one day international (ODI) match, t he PNG Barramundis have won their first match beating Hong Kong by 4 wickets.
The Hong Kong side batted first posting a subpar target of 202 runs.
This was courtesy of the Barras bowling attack who were on song thanks to the efforts of veteran Mahuru Dai, Willie Gavera and all-rounder Assad Vala who grabbed two wickets each.
In their response, the Barras chased down the target with ease thanks to half centuries from Charles Amini Jnr (61) and Vani Morea(54).
The Barras will play their second ODI match again against Hong Kong at 10 am tomorrow at Tony Ireland stadium at 10 am.
