PNG Hunters name 26-man squad for 2015 Instrust Super Cup

26-man squad named for PNG Hunters 
The Papua New Guinea Hunters administrators have named  26 -man squad for this year's  Instrust Super Cup campaign in Australia. The squad is made up of new talent mixing in with experience players that was announced today.

PNG Hunters head coach, Michael Marum said with the addition of the new players identified throughout 2014, he believed he has a very strong and talented squad for the 2015 Queensland Intrust Super Cup season.

He made note that Wartovo Puara and Thompson Teteh were also in the mix depending on their trial with the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

“It is fantastic that some of our players have gone onto the NRL through contracts and trials and it now gives the next crop of players a chance to step up and take the opportunity they have.

“The competition for spots is intense and we have seen a real lift in the quality of training. We have worked very hard in the off-season and now pre-season and I know the boys are looking forward to our first trial game against Ipswich on February 21st,” said Marum.

The 2015 squad is as follows:

Adex Wera, Adam Korave, Brandy Peter, Edward Goma, Esau Siune, George Benson, Israel Eliab, Lawrence Tu’u, Noel Zemming, Roger Laka, Sebastian Pandia, Timothy Lomai, William Minoga, Kato Ottio, Ase Boas, Stargoth Amean, Warren Glare, Philemon Kimisive, Henry Wan David Lapua, Atte Bina Wabo, Jay Jay Garisson, Bland Abavu, Enock Maki, Wartovo Puara and Thompson Teteh.
