Australian Rugby League Superstar Brent Tate in PNG
NRL superstar Brent Tate, from the North Queensland Cowboys arrived this afternoon in Port Moresby for the opening of a new hardware store for Anitua Hardware.
Anitua Hardware is a subsidiary of the Anitua Ltd group of companies and is based in different parts of the nation.
General Manager John Svenson says he is proud to have such as star as Brent Tate come over for the opening of the only wholly owned Papua New Guinean Hardware store.
“It is an honour to have Brent with us for the opening of the new hardware store tomorrow and we chose him because he does have a lot of fans in the country.”
Meanwhile, the winger himself says he is excited to be here as this is his second time ever to be in PNG.
“This is a really exciting experience for me to come to PNG, knowing how many fans we have here and I am pleased to be associated with the company and country.”
