Influx of Foreign owned business in PNG questioned
Bougainville Leader, Joe LERA today questioned the Minister for Trade and Industry, Richard Maru on what his office was doing about the growing number of foreign owned businesses against local business within PNG.
The Minister today assured the Leader that draft legislation is now being furnished to ensure that Foreigners who enter PNG do not occupy business ownership that locals are entitled to.
This will also that all foreign owned trade stories/smaller shops are screened and closed and allow our local men and women to start-up businesses under an amount of K10M
