Pacific Islands Airlines sign agreement

Three airlines companies in the Pacific have agreed to work together to develop and promote partnership in aviation services that can be of beneficial to the Pacific countries.
Papua New Guinea's Air Niugini, Air Vanuatu and Solomon Airlines signed an initial agreement in Honiara, Solomon Islands, last week to enter into a tri-partite code share arrangement on the Port Moresby/Honiara/Port Vila route.
Under the agreement, Air Vanuatu and Solomon Airlines would use Air Niugini’s Fokker 100 aircraft.
The service is expected to start in the next four months.
Air Niugini said in a statement that more details of flights schedule would be released once the agreement was finalized.
