Papua New Guinea needs a baseline survey on how to make decisions and measure success in the fight against TB, Malaria and HIV AIDS.
The United States Ambassador to P-N-G, Walter North, highlighted this when witnessing the signing of three new grant agreements by the Global Fund worth over 134-million-Kina yesterday (Monday 16th Feb).
These grants will be used to address Tuberculosis and malaria in the country.
Ambassador North, who's also one of the C-C-M members, assures the P-N-G government and the health department, it will continue to support its anti-TB campaign.
He said, as the largest single donor to Global Fund Tuberculosis, Malaria and HIV AIDS, it will continue to support the fight to contain these diseases.
