Bemobile-Vodafone secures the services of Dika Toua
Bmobile-Vodafone has signed the services of PNG Female weightlifter and Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Dika Toua as the company’s Brand Ambassador. The announcement was made by Mr Sundar Ramamurthy, Group CEO of Bmobile-Vodafone.
According to Mr Ramamurthy, Dika went to Bmobile-Vodafone office after returning from the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and spoke to the staffs about what effort it takes to win a Gold medal which impressed the staffs who approached the CEO suggesting if Dika could be the company’s Brand Ambassador.
“We are very proud to say that Dika has consented to be our Brand Ambassador. And it’s not just about the fact that what Dika has achieved but the fact that she can provide the source of inspiration to our people, to our staffs, what it takes to put in a big effort, what it takes to put in a continuous and what it takes to be a Champion,” says Mr Ramamurthy.
The signing of Dika will see her represent Bmobile-Vodafone on a permanent basis in major events and launches for the next two years.
“The reason why I chose Bmobile-Vodafone is because they relate to in what I do. Just like me they believe in giving back to the country and making the country a better place to live in,” says Dika.
The announcement comes in line with Bmobile-Vodafone’s network expansion which has already seen 3G+ in Port Moresby, Lae, Nadzab, Mt Hagen, Wewak, Simberi, Lorengau and Lombrum.
